Spacious 2 Bedroom w/Balcony Hoxton, Old St, City

Positive: It was really easy to check in and the location was perfect for a work trip and also being able to see London. The hot water worked fine during my stay despite what other reviews said. Host was very responsive and helpful. Small kitchen but very spacious overall.

A disappointing stay in a poorly maintained property that looked nothing like the photos. Positive: Nothing. The stay was extremely disappointing. The photos in the listing were misleading and did not reflect the actual condition of the property. The place was worn down, the floor was covered in scratches, and the bathroom was especially poor. It had no working light and lacked basic amenities, including paper towels and a shower curtain. The shower setup was unlike anything I had seen before: the water went from extremely hot to extremely cold, and the faucet did not work properly, so there was no comfortable temperature in between. The whole experience was a disaster. Negative: Management was very responsive at first, but once I politely and professionally tried to resolve the situation, they stopped replying. Their phone number was of no help because no one answered, and they only seemed to communicate when it suited them. They would not help me cancel the reservation. Management even gave me the owner’s number, but the owner did not respond or take any responsibility either. I am extremely dissatisfied with this unpleasant experience and would not recommend this property to anyone. I hope Booking.com reviews the listing and removes it if the property cannot be represented accurately.
