Luxury 2 Bed w/Balcony View, 4 Min Walk to Station

Lautes und relativ dreckiges Apartment in verkehrsgünstiger Lage Positive: Die Wohnung ist groß und man ist in ca. 5 Minuten an der U-Bahnstation an der Latimer Road (Circle Line & Hammersmith and City Line). Wenn man durch das Einkaufszentrum läuft kommt man nach ca. 10 Minuten zu einer U-Bahnstation der Central Line. Die Gastgeber waren per Chat immer erreichbar. Negative: Als wir dort waren war es unglaublich heiß (dafür können die Gastgeber nichts) in London und in der Wohnung (ca. 30°C) leider auch. Es waren Ventilatoren da, die verteilen die Hitze aber halt höchstens. Die Fenster zum lüften kann man zwar öffnen, da dort aber die Autobahn direkt davor liegt (und eine Bahnlinie und eine U-Bahnlinie) ist es dann in der Wohnung schon ziemlich laut. Den Verkehr hört man aber auch noch bei geschlossenen Fenstern. In der Wohnung gab es mehrere Schimmelflecken an den Wänden (Küche und Waschküche), der Teppich war schon sehr dreckig und müsste eigentlich getauscht werden. Nachts liefen Silberfische durch die Wohnung (Schimmel!!!). Die Spülmaschine verteilte den Dreck in der Maschine mehr als dass etwas sauber wurde, wir haben dann von Hand gewaschen. Das Geschirr ist auf das nötigste beschränkt (4 Personen), es ist alles genau vier mal vorhanden. Ein Möbelstück im Schlafzimmer war beschädigt (aber noch nutzbar). Im Badezimmer gab es ebenfalls Schimmel... Warum man die Kaution im Vorfeld überweisen muss verstehe ich nicht, alle anderen Wohnungen haben einfach einen Betrag auf der Kreditkarte reserviert (sofern sie überhaupt eine Kaution wollten). Gut das mit der Kaution war mein Fehler, ich hatte das bei der Buchung überlesen, ich hätte diese Unterkunft allerdings dann auch erst gar nicht gebucht. Unter einem Luxury Appartement stelle ich mir etwas anderes vor.

Positive: Really nice and maintained apartment. Close to station and mall . Host was responsive and acted fast if there was any issue .

Worst stay ever during the last 20 years of traveling and booking through booking.com Positive: Nothing. Negative: This was by far the worst accommodation experience I have had during approximately 20 years of booking hotels through Booking.com. I booked this property for an eight-night family holiday in London, expecting accommodation of a reasonable standard. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. I did not realise when booking that the property was more like Airbnb-style accommodation rather than a proper hotel, and the overall condition and standard were extremely disappointing. The property was not clean, the carpets and curtains were dirty, some of the furniture was broken, and there was an unpleasant smell inside the accommodation. We also noticed signs of mould, which made the overall condition even more concerning. The facilities were extremely limited and far below what I would normally expect when booking accommodation for a family holiday. The location was also disappointing and inconvenient for us, which added to an already poor experience. What disappointed me most was the difference between my expectations when booking through Booking.com and what we actually experienced on arrival. Had the nature, condition and standard of this accommodation been clearer to me before booking, I would never have chosen it for an eight-night family stay. After many years of travelling and regularly using Booking.com, I can genuinely say that this was one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences I have ever had. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it, particularly for families expecting the standards and facilities normally associated with hotel accommodation.

Wohnung an lärmintensiver Lage Positive: Nahe an der U-Bahn. Waschmaschine, geräumige Schlafzimmer, sauber, eine Kontaktperson war per Mail erreichbar, noch angenehmer wäre vor Ort oder am Telefon. Negative: Extrem laut, da Bahn und Autobahn direkt angrenzend, Im Sommer zu heiss (28 Grad) und lüften in Nacht auf Grund extremem Lärm unmöglich. Keine Nachttischlampe und defekte Badezimmerspiegellampe bei Ankunft. Die 5. Person musste auf einem dünnen Schaumstoff schlafen, keine Kaffeekapseln vorhanden, oft keine W-Lan-Verbindung, wir hatten Mühe den Schlüssel bei der Ankunft zu finden. Die Teppiche in den Schlafzimmern sind arg strapaziert und müssten erneuert werden.

Average not good as expected Negative: Gabbage room is so dirty, inside trash cart is full and dirty therefore I simply put the trash bag on the floor inside. Ridiculously host ask me to put back trash bag inside the trash cart. Ok fine i put back and he even ask me to take pics. This is ridiculous,cleaning trash is yheir responsibility. Not mine. I already puy m trash inside. Also the bnb is super noisy, car horn yhroughout the whole night. Bad
